In House Legal Counsel

Be responsible for providing legal support on a wide variety of enquiries and matters, including but not limited to contracts, customer queries, data protection, regulatory compliance, licensing and corporate secretarial matters.
Review and draft contracts and other company documentation, such as rental, construction, SPA agreements, and employment handbooks.
Support the company in managing and resolving legal disputes and regulatory inquiries.
Monitor legal and regulatory developments that may impact the company and provide timely advice to business teams.
Conduct legal research as required.
Provide counsel and support for dispute resolution and prevention, internal investigations, risk assessments, and liability assessments.
Handle requests from and be a trusted contact for law enforcement and government agencies; provide counsel and support for dispute resolution and prevention; manage external parties, including counterparties, external counsel and experts.
Corporate and commercial drafting and/or litigation experience is an added advantage.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in law from reputable university or equivalent
Must be fluent in written and spoken English and Malay
Minimum 5 years working experience in a legal department or a reputable law firm, post-long Call.
