Take your career to a whole new level with us and join our kitchen team. In the Indian Chef role, you will head all the sections of the Indian Kitchen. Youu will strategically lead the team to take guest satisfaction to the next level.What you will be doing:- Ensure consistency and highest quality in food taste, temperature and presentation- Ensure the quality and cleanliness of all food displays with maximum creativity- Coordinate all Restaurant / Banquet / food production, and all specific duties to chefs and other staff under his/her supervision- Check all set-ups for restaurant and banquet functions.- Responsible for the correct timing during service and that food served is always of the highest standards- Monitor and implement portion control established with the recipe cards and the butcher test; minimise waste and spoilage- Check stores and refrigerators and oversee proper storage and recycling of leftovers- Ensure effective communication among the kitchens and with other departments- Work closely with receiving and storeroom to ensure received goods meet Hotel's quality standards specifications- Supervise food tasting sessions and guide chefs for new menu implementation- Regularly taking inventory of food supplies and other products.- Should be able to customize customers' orders according to preferences and food allergy considerations.- Ensures adherence to highest quality food preparation and hygiene standards**Requirements**:Your experience and skills include:- Proven experience working for minimum of 3-5 years in a similar role- Good knowledge of various Indian Ingredients- The ability to work under pressure and with the team.- In-depth knowledge of food safety requirements for restaurants- Able to stand for extended hours- Excellent communication and time-management skills**Salary**: RM2,000.00 - RM3,000.00 per monthAbility to commute/relocate:- Johor Bahru: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (preferred)Application Deadline: 09/02/2023Expected Start Date: 09/05/2023
