You will be responsible for providing comprehensive indirect tax support to operations in Malaysia, India, and China. You will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to ensure compliance with local indirect tax laws and regulations, minimize tax risks, and optimize tax efficiencies.

Description
Conduct thorough analysis of indirect tax laws and regulations in Malaysia, India, and China to ensure compliance with local requirements. Prepare and file indirect tax returns, including GST, VAT, and other indirect tax filings, accurately and timely. Monitor changes in indirect tax laws and regulations, assess potential impact on the company, and recommend appropriate actions. Collaborate with internal stakeholders, including finance, accounting, legal, and supply chain teams, to identify indirect tax issues and develop effective solutions. Assist in indirect tax audits and inquiries, including gathering relevant documentation and responding to tax authority requests. Provide indirect tax guidance and training to internal teams to enhance awareness and compliance with tax requirements. Support tax planning initiatives and projects to optimize indirect tax efficiencies and minimize tax risks. Maintain accurate records and documentation related to indirect tax matters, ensuring adherence to internal controls and policies. Stay abreast of industry trends, best practices, and emerging technologies in indirect tax compliance and reporting. Profile
Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or related field. 4-6 years of experience in indirect tax compliance and reporting, preferably in a multinational corporation or professional services firm. Strong understanding of indirect tax laws and regulations in Malaysia, India, and China. Proficiency in tax compliance software and ERP systems, with experience in SAP or Oracle preferred. Excellent analytical skills, with the ability to interpret complex tax laws and regulations. Effective communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams. Detail-oriented and organized, with the ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities effectively. Professional certification such as CPA, CA, or CMA is a plus. Job Offer
