The Information Communication has a key role in providing customer services in ensuring availability of eS&D system, Tablet System, SAP, LAN computer access facilities. This includes operation support, software and LAN upgrades, ES&D, Tablet and SAP device configuration. Other tasks include help desk support, ensuring data integrity of the eS&D system, documentation of procedures, assisting computer operations, and after-hours support when required.
CommunicationProvide updates of software releases and fixes to users.
Provide and contribute monthly departmental report from Sabah operation to discuss work done and tasks and relevant business events.
Liaise with GIT on hardware, software issues, and LAN.
Liaise with SP&D on eS&D/Tablet issues.
Assist and advise to control GIT operational costs.
Assist GIT Manager to review computer equipment maintenance contracts.
Customer ServiceProvide GIT advice and training to users.
Provide eS&D/Tablet advice and training to users.
Help-desk and after-hours support.

Equipment AvailabilityEnsure all equipment and communications are operational and properly maintained.
Co-ordinate hardware purchase and delivery.
System AvailabilityAssist and support distributor on the ES&D sales application to ensure business continuity.
Ensure data integrity of the ES&D database and up-to-date information.
Enhance and propose new system processes to improve business operation effectiveness.
Maintain active directory data up-to-date by following GIT SOP.
AuditingEnsure all copies of software are approved and authorized.
Ensure all equipment is secured and identified.
