Position Overview:
We are seeking a proactive and technically skilled IT Engineer to join our school's IT department.
The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining and enhancing the school's IT infrastructure, including device support, networking, and security systems, while demonstrating a willingness to learn and grow.

Key Responsibilities:
Manage and support the school's IT infrastructure, including devices such as Mac, Windows, and Chromebooks.
Provide technical support for hardware, software, and peripheral devices to ensure smooth operations for staff and students.
Maintain and troubleshoot networking systems, including wired and wireless networks, ensuring optimal connectivity and performance.
Support and manage the school's VoIP (Voice over IP) systems to ensure effective communication channels.
Monitor, maintain, and troubleshoot CCTV systems to support the school's safety and security protocols.
Assist in database management and query optimization using SQL for data integrity and performance.
Collaborate with the IT team to implement and improve new and existing technologies.
Document IT procedures and solutions for training and reference purposes.
Ensure data privacy, IT security, and compliance with school policies and standards.
Qualifications and Skills:
Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field (fresh graduates who are eager to learn are encouraged to apply).
Basic understanding of SQL and database management.
Experience or familiarity with managing and troubleshooting devices (Mac, Windows, and Chromebooks).
Knowledge of networking principles, including troubleshooting wired and wireless networks.
Basic knowledge of VoIP systems and their maintenance.
Familiarity with CCTV systems and their management.
Basic knowledge of Google Workspace and Microsoft 365; experience with AppSheet is considered a bonus.
Strong problem-solving skills and a collaborative mindset.
Excellent communication and organizational skills.
Preferred Skills (Not Mandatory):
Experience with cloud platforms such as Google Workspace or Microsoft 365.
Exposure to scripting or automation tools like AppSheet for process improvement.
