Job Purpose:
As the technical lead in the pre-sales phase, the Information Technology Product Engineer plays a crucial role in advancing the company's cloud services. This position supports the Business Development (BD) team by aligning technical capabilities with client needs, ensuring a seamless connection between our cloud solutions and customer objectives.
Responsibilities:
Technical Support for Business Development (BD) Team:
Provide technical expertise and insights to aid the BD team in client engagements, helping translate client needs into tailored solutions.
Solution Design and Customization:
Design and adapt cloud solutions to meet specific client requirements, ensuring scalability, security, and operational efficiency.
Client Engagement and Technical Consultation:
Act as a trusted advisor to clients, offering technical guidance and answering inquiries to build confidence in our solutions.
Cloud Solution Advisory:
Recommend the best cloud practices and services based on client goals, leveraging current trends and industry standards.
Collaboration with Internal Teams:
Work closely with product, engineering, and support teams to develop solutions that meet client requirements and exceed expectations.
Technical Proposal and RFP/RFQ Support:
Assist in creating detailed technical proposals and responses for Requests for Proposal (RFP) and Requests for Quotation (RFQ).
Post-Sales Handoff Support:
Ensure a smooth transition by handing over technical specifications and project insights to the implementation team after closing a sale.
Market and Competitor Research:
Stay informed on market trends, competitor offerings, and evolving customer needs to provide insights for product and service enhancements.
Qualifications & Experience:
Minimum Experience:3+ years of relevant experience in IT solutions engineering, with a focus on cloud technologies.
Education:Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field.
Skills & Knowledge:
Technical Expertise in Cloud Technologies:In-depth knowledge of cloud computing, virtualization, cybersecurity, and database management.
Presentation and Communication Skills:Ability to convey technical concepts effectively to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
Project Management & Multitasking:Strong organizational skills to manage multiple projects and prioritize effectively.
Technical Proficiency:Hands-on experience with cloud and virtualization technologies, cybersecurity protocols, and database management systems.
