Job Title: Infrastructure IT SpecialistThis is a critical role for an experienced and skilled professional who will manage and maintain IT systems to ensure optimal performance and security.
As an IT specialist, you will be responsible for the upkeep of our hardware, networking, and cloud technologies to guarantee seamless system operation.
Salary Range: RM 3500 - RM 4500 per month
About the RoleWe are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented individual to join our team as an Infrastructure IT Specialist.
In this position, you will oversee the organization's IT infrastructure, perform deployment tasks, and troubleshoot issues to maintain efficient, secure, and uninterrupted system operation.
The ideal candidate should have a strong background in IT infrastructure management, network administration, and cloud technologies.
Experience with virtualization, operating systems (Windows Server, Linux), and web servers is also highly desirable.
Key ResponsibilitiesInfrastructure Management: Maintain physical and virtual office infrastructures, including servers, networks, storage systems, and other related hardware.
Network Administration: Manage and monitor local and wide-area networks (LAN/WAN), ensuring connectivity, performance, and security within the office.
Deployment Tasks: Perform deployment in various environments, including Linux and Windows.
Troubleshooting: Diagnose and resolve hardware, software, and network issues, minimizing downtime and ensuring quick resolution.
Performance Monitoring: Continuously monitor system performance, making recommendations for upgrades or improvements to enhance system efficiency and reliability.
RequirementsDiploma in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field, or equivalent work experience.
Proven experience in managing IT infrastructure, including servers, networks, and cloud environments.
Strong knowledge of networking protocols, hardware, and systems administration.
Experience with virtualization technologies (e.g., VMware, Hyper-V).
Hands-on experience with operating systems such as Windows Server, Linux, and others.
Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
Excellent communication and collaboration skills to work effectively across teams.
Familiarity with web servers and server scripting languages (PHP, Python, Ruby).
Preferred SkillsExperience with containerization technologies like Docker or Kubernetes.
Knowledge of database administration and storage solutions (SAN, NAS).
