Instrument & Metering Engineer

Description Lead calibration, validation, and maintenance of instrumentation and metering systems (e.g., Pressure/Temperature Transmitters, densitometers, turbine meters).
Develop and implement maintenance strategies to ensure system reliability and accuracy.
Provide technical guidance and leadership to engineers and technicians.
Ensure compliance with industry standards, safety protocols, and internal regulations (e.g., e-PTW and manual PTW).
Analyze metering data, resolve discrepancies, and ensure accurate measurement of crude oil and gas flow.
Collaborate with operations, maintenance, and HSE teams to optimize performance.
Prepare detailed reports and presentations on system performance and calibration outcomes.
Drive continuous improvement and lead commissioning of new instrumentation systems.
Requirements Bachelors Degree in Instrumentation, Control Systems Engineering, or related field.
Minimum 7 years of experience in instrumentation and metering systems, preferably in the oil and gas industry.
Experience with PLCs, Gas Chromatography, DBB valves, and safety-critical systems management.
Strong technical knowledge in calibration, validation, and metering systems.
Proven leadership and project management skills with experience in managing teams.
Familiarity with regulatory processes.
Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
