Integrity Officer - Assistant Manager & Senior ExecutiveFull time
Responsibilities:
To assist on a Complaints Management System for the IGU (manual/online) in the organisation;
To assist on supervising, monitoring and managing the receiving of information/complaints on misconducts of corruption, abuse of power and malpractice, as well as violation of code of conduct and ethics in the organisation;
To forward the information/report to the Head of Integrity (HOI) to assess the information/complaint for further action;
To ensure action is taken on information/complaint on corruption, abuse of power and malpractice by the Detection and Verification Sub-Unit;
To ensure information/complaint related to administration or not related to IGU matters are forwarded to the relevant department in the organisation for internal action;
To monitor and oversee records on entry and receipt of reports up to completion;
To analyse trends/types/categories of complaints received;
To prepare a Complaints Statistics Reports periodically for monitoring purposes;
To build cooperative ties with other departments in the organisation for the improvement of the Complaints Management System.
Detection and Verification:
Assisting the HOI in detecting and verifying information related to corruption, abuse of power, malpractice as well as violation of code of conduct and ethics in the organisation;
Preparing complete report on the conducted verification together with comments and recommendation to the HOI on action to be taken for the report;
For internal administration issues, the report should be checked by the HOI and forwarded to the Human Resources Division for further action.
Integrity Enhancement:
To develop a range of communication medium for Integrity or plan yearly internal and external Integrity awareness program;
To create good rapport with the present external party (e.g. SPRM, IIM and etc.) for future programs;
To plan, implement and coordinate integrity strengthening programs to enhance the practice of good values, ethics and integrity in the organisation;
To monitor, coordinate and analyse the performance and reporting of programs;
To prepare articles/inputs of reading materials for integrity strengthening for publication, printing, distribution and promotion to staff;
To build strong network with the Head of Department/Sector/Unit in the organisation;
Preparing budget on awareness activities;
To liaise with external parties for awareness program to be conducted at BR.
Governance:
To assist on yearly internal and external ABMS awareness program planning;
To prepare ABMS Management Program based on the objective set by ABMS' committee;
To conduct checks and research on policies, systems and work procedures and to suggest improvements;
To coordinate the improvement of the organisation's relevant procedures and systems;
To supervise and ensure the exercise of the best governance mechanism;
Serves as liaison person for ABMS' meeting arrangement.
General duties as Integrity Officer:
To perform any other duties under roles and functions of Integrity and Governance Unit.
The employee has to adhere to any revision on Job Description as when necessary as determined by management.
Requirements:
Bachelor's Degree in Finance/Accountancy, Law or any related field.
Minimum 6 to 7 years of experience in integrity field.
Candidate who has experience in ABMS Audit, process improvements and corruption risk assessment.
Candidate who has experience of working in plantation industry is an advantage.
Proficient in MS Office applications.
Good interpersonal and communication skills, both verbal and written in English and Bahasa Malaysia.
Mature, pleasant personality and has good negotiation skill.
Able to work under pressure.
A self-motivated person and able to work independently.
Willing to go for outstation across Peninsular, Sabah & Sarawak.
Possess own transport.
Fit to work and have a good track of attendance record.#J-18808-Ljbffr
