In this full-time role based in Kuching, Sarawak, you will be responsible for creating innovative and functional interior designs that cater to the needs of our diverse clients. As an Interior Designer, you will play a strategic role in shaping the aesthetic and practical aspects of residential and commercial spaces.
What you'll be doing Collaborate with clients to understand their design requirements and preferencesDevelop comprehensive interior design concepts and plans, incorporating elements of space planning, colour palettes, furniture selection, and material choicesPrepare detailed drawings, 3D renderings, and mood boards to effectively communicate design ideasCoordinate with contractors, tradespeople, and suppliers to ensure seamless project implementationMonitor project progress and make adjustments to designs as needed to meet client satisfactionStay up-to-date with industry trends, best practices, and innovative design solutionsWhat we're looking for Knowledge in Interior Design or a related fieldFresh graduates is also welcome to apply Minimum 1 years of experience as an Interior Designer, preferably in the residential or commercial sectorStrong technical skills in computer-aided design (CAD) software, 3D modelling, and visual presentation toolsExcellent communication and client-facing skills to effectively present design conceptsAbility to work collaboratively in a team and manage multiple projects simultaneouslyCreativity, attention to detail, and a passion for creating aesthetically pleasing and functional spacesWhat we offer Basic salary and performance-based commissionsOpportunities for professional development and career advancementEPF, SOCSO & EIS providedAbout us GENESIS HOME DECO SDN BHD is a interior design and home décor company based in Kuching, Sarawak.
