YOUR ROLE
As part of the Manufacturing Data Science team for Quality, Manufacturing & Technology, the candidate is expected to deploy machine learning (ML) and deep learning (DL) models to improve productivity for the manufacturing equipment process at assembly.
Tasks include creating a data pipeline, image labeling, data cleaning and transformation. Through analysis and modelling, the candidate is expected to discover correlations and insights that can be translated to a business value for the end stakeholders.
The candidate will also be involved in the design and setup of dashboards to visualize data and to use the insights gathered to make recommendations.
YOUR SKILLS & EXPERIENCES
We are looking for a highly driven and talented third- or last-year computer science, mathematical sciences, and engineering student (Bachelor, Master, or PhD)to join our Manufacturing Data Science Team as an intern.
This project necessitates those candidates have a firm grasp on concepts of AI, Computer Vision, ML and DL. To begin, candidates should be familiar with and understand data manipulation and visualization techniques. Second, some familiarity with AI/ML/DL models and Computer Vision are required. Candidates should understand the distinction between supervised and unsupervised learning. Additionally, he or she should be familiar with developing AI/ML/DL models using the Python library. Finally, candidates should be able to contribute to the software code base, based on proficient Python programming skills.
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS
Understand Python for data science & analytics,
Familiar with machine learning libraries,
Preferably internship duration of 6 months and above.
