The opportunity to improve health on a global scale stands before us.Human Resources (HR) Intern provides support to the HR department in various administrative and operational tasks.
This internship opportunity allows individuals to gain practical experience and exposure to different areas of HR while liaising with HR professionals.
The HR Intern assists with recruitment, employee relations, training and development, and other HR functions to contribute to the overall success of the HR department.Key Responsibilities:Employee Onboarding:Assist in preparing new hire paperwork and orientation materials.Coordinate the collection and verification of new hire documentation.Support the onboarding process by ensuring a smooth transition for new employees.Assist with the setup of new employee profiles in HRIS (Human Resources Information System).HR Administration:Maintain and update employee records, ensuring accuracy and confidentiality.Support the HR team in maintaining HR databases and systems.Assist in preparing HR-related reports, documents, and presentations.Help handle HR-related documentation, including employee handbooks and policies.Employee Relations:Assist with employee engagement initiatives, such as organizing company events and activities.Assist in organizing and documenting employee feedback, surveys, and recognition programs.Training and Development:Assist in coordinating training sessions and workshops.Help maintain training records and update training materials.Assist with training logistics, such as room reservations and equipment setup.Support the evaluation of training programs and gather participant feedback.HR Projects:Assist HR professionals with various HR projects and initiatives.Support the implementation of HR programs and policies.Participate in cross-functional projects to gain exposure to different areas of the organization.Qualifications and Skills:Currently pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field, or possess equivalent experience.Basic understanding of HR principles, practices, and employment laws is preferred.Excellent interpersonal and time management skills.Solid attention to detail and accuracy in data management.Effective written and verbal communication skills.Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information.Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to work well in a team environment.Willingness to learn and tackle new responsibilities.Availability to contribute to a specific duration of the internship program.
