Responsibilities:
1. Carrying out the audit of the Group's operating outlets by promoting operational efficiency by recommending possible methods of cost savings and improvement of the activities being reviewed;
2. Conducting follow up on all outstanding audit issues and recommendations to ensure that prompt implementation of agreed corrective measures by the auditees.
3. Assist the Manager in coordinating the creation, mapping, review and to finalizing of Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) for all department and business within the Group;
4. Establishing systematic documentations of audit working papers with proper cross referencing, description of work done and supported with adequate evidence for each audit assignments to facilitate review;
5. Appropriately escalate the audit issues with auditee/Management through formal audit exit meeting and obtain feedback from them;
6. Drafting audit reports upon completion of every audit assignment with concise, factual presentation and able to write the audit issues in a proper audit report with minimum fundamental and grammar errors.
7. Conduct ad-hoc assignments, including special review and investigations, as and when the need arises and/or requested by the Management.
8. To maintain accurate audit working papers and participate in audit meetings and discussions with auditees regarding audit issues.
Requirements:
1. Degree in Accountancy/Banking/Finance or Mathematic or equivalent.
2. Preferably with 2 to 5 years of relevant working experiences in internal and/or external audit.
3. Energetic, creative, organized & self-motivated.
4. Knowledge in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Power Point).
5. Good in making decision, fast thinker, strong interpersonal skills, analytical, communication and writing skills.
6. Willingness to travel and stay in challenging outlets/working environments.
7. Strong knowledge of internal control frameworks & risk management.
