International Freight Manager

**Job Scope**:- To generate sales revenue for the freight department.- Receive enquiries and accurately input orders into the system.- Identify customer needs and ensure clear communication to related internal departments.- Co-ordinate between Freight Department internally and externally.- Maintain existing customer base through effective customer service skills.- Able to source competitive rates from Shipping Liners & agents.- Responsible for liaising with and auctioning incoming calls from both internal & external customers, suppliers and Agents regarding Freight shipments/bookings.- Preparing Bill of Lading (Seawaybill, Surrendered b/l, Original b/l & House b/l).- Connection with external agencies for both import & export oversea counterpart.- Notify customers of any activities that may result in late delivery.- Handle customers' complaints timely. Take lead with related internal departments to ensure on time closure/update of complaints- Familiar with Ports System.- Other duties as assigned.**Work Experience Requirements**- Successful working experience- Proven customer support experience- Customer orientation and ability to adapt/respond to different types of charactersGood communication and presentation skills- Ability to multi-task, prioritise, and manage time effectively- Ability to work independently & to carry out assignments till completion within parameters of instructions given & standard accepted practices.- Familiar with international freight and procedures
