Internship, Cost Controller

This position is responsible for planning, organizing, and managing all operational costs, managing the inventory & logistics cost function, and maintaining standards in all responsible areas.
Your Day-to-Day
Provide analysis of operational consumption to handle inventory & logistics as accurately as possible.
Maintain & analyze all inventory & logistics costs on a daily, weekly, and monthly basis, making recommendations for cost savings alternatives.
Establish and maintain a database for inventory & logistics stock, including up-to-date pricing.
Coordinate, attend, and monitor all inventory & logistics physical inventories movement to ensure accuracy.
Ensure proper documentation storage and issuance of all inventory & logistics items.
Establish and maintain a cost allocation transfer system for inventory & logistics to various departments.
Assist management in operational costing to establish proper process flow for inventory & logistics.
Carry out audit spot-checks on inventory & logistics stock-takes.
Account and monitor any inventory & logistics transfers.
You Know-How
Diploma/Degree in Logistics Management, Supply Chain, or a related field.
Responsible for completing tasks.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
Strong attention to detail and accuracy in data entry.
Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to work well in a team environment.#J-18808-Ljbffr
