About the RoleYou will be responsible for performing general accounting activities to ensure the integrity, accuracy, and completeness of accounting records.
You will also be responsible for ensuring compliance with accepted accounting standards, AIA Group reporting policy, and statutory and regulatory requirements.
Perform general accounting activities including preparing, maintaining, and reconciling ledger accounts and financial statements.
Prepare, record, analyze, and report accounting transactions.
Assist with forecasting, budgeting, and analyzing budget variances for relevant functions.
Analyze and prepare statutory accounts, financial statements, and reports.
Assist in documenting accounting projects and processes.
Handle additional responsibilities and tasks as periodically assigned by the assistant manager to meet business requirements.
Requirements:
Preferably an undergraduate in the penultimate or final year of a bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance program.
Excel academically with a minimum CGPA of 3.00 or second class upper or equivalent.
Minimum duration would be 12 weeks or above.
Compulsory internship placements by university.
Willing to work in Cyberjaya.
Note:There are 3 available positions - Reporting, Accounts Payable, and Investment Accounting.
