Internship - Health, Safety & Environment (Hse)

**Purpose of the Role**You will be a key member of the HSE team reporting directly to the HSE Manager and matrix direct report to HSE Executive. You will be responsible for all HSE activities that will be assigned from time to time. You will work closely across all teams within the plant operations and corporate functions.The internship opportunity allows the selected individual to involve themselves in the management of HSE management. They will have a first hand opportunity to experience inner working relating to HSE, conduct HIRARC and be involved in safety committees, audits, training, etc.**Key Accountabilities**- Key function is to support the HSE team in daily operation.- Enforcing HSE SOP, WI and practice.- Daily HSE inspection and reporting.- Conduct toolbox in each department.**Responsibilities**- To provide a weekly report on any activities or site inspection involved during internship to HSE Department and present the report when requested by HSE Executive.- Preparation of guidelines and SOPs relating to HSE management & organizing them as per the document control policy.- Assist the HSE Executive in implementing the HSE protocols throughout the facility and help to monitor the adherence to HSE principles.- Assisting the HSE Executive in conducting investigation on any incidents that occur onsite to its natural conclusion.- Assist HSE Executive on doing site safety inspection and reporting.- Assist HSE Executive on doing toolbox talk.- Assists other matters that may be assigned from time to time.**Requirements & Person Specifications**- Diploma, Advanced/higher/graduate diploma and/or Bachelor's degree in chemical / biological science /, or a related field.- Health & Safety majors are encouraged to apply.- Demonstrate the ability to communicate effectively in English both orally and in writing, using proper grammar and vocabulary.- Strong computer literacy, including word processing, spreadsheets and presentations- Time management skills- Be patient and meticulous.- Communication & Presentation skill.**Reporting Lines & Supervision**- Reporting to HSE Manager- Supervise by HSE Executive**Job Type**: InternshipContract length: 6 months**Salary**: RM800.00 per month**Benefits**:- Additional leave- Professional developmentSchedule:- Monday to FridayApplication Question(s):- Are you majoring in Health, Safety & Environment (HSE)?- Please advice us your internship period?**Language**:- Bahasa & English (preferred)
