About the Role:
We're looking for a proactive and driven intern to help expand Omelas Academy's reach through strategic university partnerships.
As part of our founding team, you'll play a key role in building relationships with universities and ensuring the smooth execution of our in-person university programs.
Key Responsibilities:
Research and identify potential university partners aligned with Omelas Academy's mission.
Reach out to universities and secure partnerships for hosting Omelas Academy programs.
Coordinate with university representatives to schedule and plan in-person programs.
Manage logistical aspects of in-person events, including venues, materials, and schedules.
Track partnership outreach and follow-ups, maintaining organized records.
Contribute to creative ideas for program promotion and outreach strategies.
Who You Are:
A university student or recent graduate passionate about sustainability and social impact.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the confidence to approach new partners.
Highly organized and detail-oriented, able to juggle multiple tasks effectively.
Proactive, with the ability to work independently and take initiative.
(Preferred) Experience in event coordination or partnership building.
(Preferred) Familiarity with sustainability, systems thinking, or social justice concepts.
