To help support our growing media platform, we seek a talented Video Editor Intern to join our team!
As a Video Editing Intern, you will work closely with our video production team to assist in editing and producing high-quality video content for ViebyProductNation.
You will be required to use your creative knowledge to shoot and assemble recorded footage into a final product that matches our vision and is suitable for publishing.
As our presence grows in audience and business, this role requires quick thinking, creativity, and a keen ability to analyse data to improve future content.
Your responsibilities:Assisting in editing raw footage to create compelling video content that aligns with our brand and objectives.
Contributing to creative ideation, brainstorming new ideas and staying up-to-date with current social media trends.
Learning and applying video editing techniques and software to enhance the quality and impact of our videos.
Shooting videos according to content briefs to grasp the production team's needs and specifications.
Supporting in managing and organising video files, ensuring efficient workflow and project organisation.
Planning and conceptualising content ideas for our social media.
Understanding music selection, dialogues, graphical overlays, and effects.
Creating rough drafts and final cuts according to the platform's format.
Operating under tight deadlines with quick turnaround times.
Attending events and shoots with a positive attitude.
We want you if you have:Minimum 1-year work experience as a Video Editor.
Bachelor's Degree, Diploma, SPM / GCSE O-level, STPM / A-level, or self-taught.
Fluency in English (Bahasa Malaysia and/or Mandarin will be an advantage).
Proficiency in video editing software, e.g.
CapCut (Adobe Premiere Pro, DaVinci Resolve, Final Cut is an advantage).
Demonstrable video editing ability with a strong portfolio.
Thorough knowledge of timing, motivation, and continuity.
Basic understanding of the Lifestyle industry (Fashion, Travel, F&B, etc.).
Familiarity with graphical overlays, typography, and visuals.
Strong attention to detail and a keen eye for visual storytelling.
Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
Great problem-solving skills and an outgoing personality.
Experience in hosting is a bonus.
This is a paid internship position.
