Position Overview:As an Inventory Associate, your primary responsibility is to manage and maintain inventory in a store or warehouse. This includes the efficient handling of incoming materials, accurate record-keeping, and ensuring optimal levels of supplies to support smooth operations and meet customer needs.Responsibility and Accountability:1. Order Placement and Material Receiving:- Place daily orders with suppliers before the cut-off time.- Take delivery of all incoming materials and reconcile with purchase orders.2. Inventory Management:- Ensure the accuracy of the restaurant's inventory system by updating records of physical inventory totals, receipts, adjustments, and returns.- Submit accurate reports to the client by the given timeline.- Track, document, and resolve any discrepancies on received orders.3. Supply Chain and Restocking:- Manage inventory/supplies and ensure they are within the established minimum and maximum levels.- Ensure restocking levels are maintained to avoid shortages.4. Record-Keeping and Documentation:- Keep up-to-date records of receipts, records, and withdrawals from the stockroom.- Responsible for packing, pricing, labeling, and returning supplies.- Responsible for stock rotation and coordinate the disposal of surpluses.- Manage asset records accurately.5. Supplier Relations and Ethical Practices:- Manage supplier relations and database.- Maintain high ethical relationships both internally and externally.6. Purchase Order Management:- Create and cross-check that purchase orders are executed accurately.7. Ad-Hoc Responsibilities:- Be prepared to undertake any ad-hoc duties as required, demonstrating flexibility and adaptability.- Respond promptly to unforeseen situations to ensure smooth unit operations.Qualifications:- Degree, Advanced Diploma, Higher Diploma, Graduate Diploma, or equivalent in Business Studies or relevant field.Skills and Experience:- Proven experience in inventory management and storekeeping.- Familiarity with order placement, material receiving, and inventory control processes.- Strong organizational and record-keeping skills.- Attention to detail and accuracy in data management.- Effective communication and interpersonal skills.- Knowledge of ethical business practices and supplier relationship management.**Salary**: RM2,800.00 - RM3,800.00 per month**Benefits**:- Meal providedSchedule:- Day shift- Early shift- Monday to FridayAbility to commute/relocate:- Kuala Lumpur: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (required)**Education**:- STM/STPM (preferred)**Experience**:- Inventory control: 1 year (preferred)**Language**:- Chinese (required)
