Our Client specializes in providing integrated logistics services, including freight forwarding, supply chain management, and contract logistics.Job OverviewThis position is responsible for maintaining a high level of inventory accuracy and integrity within the facility, monitoring inventory levels and product movement, controlling or isolating non-conforming product as defined by local work instruction, and ensuring compliance with client expectations and quality standards.
The role also facilitates efficient order fulfillment.
Job Responsibilities (duties / task)Monitor and control inventory integrity, product identification, and location program; research inventory discrepancies, make necessary corrections, and manage the inventory control function at the site.
Oversee physical inventories, cycle counts, random or receipt audits, and reconciliations; track and report non-conforming products, resolving inventory problems in a timely manner, and documenting and controlling aged, scrap, and damaged products.
Maintain inventory accuracy metrics and associated reports for management and clients; coordinate and integrate efforts across operations departments to enhance inventory accuracy.
Must be able to pass the Stock Picker (SP) certification test and handle the unit on a daily basis.
Initiate action to prevent the occurrence of any non-conformities relating to product, process, and quality systems; recommend or provide solutions through appropriate channels and verify the implementation of the solutions.
Job Specification (qualification, experience, skills, attributes)Degree or Diploma holder in relevant disciplines.
Minimum 3-5 years of work experience.
Knowledge of warehouse management systems and SAP would be an advantage.
Service-oriented with good interpersonal and communication skills.
