Role Summary
We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Inventory Coordinator to join our Warehouse and Logistics Operations team. In this role, you will work closely with internal stakeholders and third-party logistics providers (3PL) to ensure accurate inventory management, resolve discrepancies, and support timely material delivery to our manufacturing operations.
Let's Talk About the Role:
Inventory Management:Maintain accurate inventory records across all warehouses in Malaysia, ensuring stock levels align with production needs.
Discrepancy Resolution:Partner with 3PL warehouse personnel to investigate and resolve inventory discrepancies.
Inventory Planning:Generate inventory replenishment reports to ensure on-time material delivery according to production schedules.
Collaboration:Work with the global inventory control team to update and sustain inventory control procedures aligned with company objectives.
System Adjustments:Perform system-based inventory adjustments, including stock requests, returns, and standardizations, to maintain record accuracy.
Cycle Counts:Conduct regular stock checks, generate cycle count and observation reports, and escalate issues to the Warehouse Management Team as required.
Policy Compliance:Manage requests for new sub-inventory or locators, ensuring compliance with company policies.
Let's Talk About Qualifications and Experience:
Required:
Diploma in Warehouse/Logistics Management or a related field.
Preferred:
At least 2 years of experience in inventory management, warehousing, or a related role.
Strong Excel skills, including data analysis and basic Macro programming.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.
Ability to collaborate effectively with diverse stakeholders and teams.
