ResponsibilitiesPerform monthly inventory, cost of goods sold, and manufacturing spend reconciliations.
Investigate and resolve any reconciliation discrepancies and propose process improvements.
Analyze inventory variances, provide explanations and recommendations.
Ensure compliance with accounting policies, internal controls, and external audit requirements regarding inventory and cost of goods sold.
Prepare and present inventory and cost of goods sold reports and metrics to management.
Research and resolve inventory and cost of goods sold issues and inquiries from internal and external customers.
Assist with COGS forecasting, standard costing, and variance analysis for manufacturing spend and inventory.
Create and maintain process documentation.
Participate in any finance operation projects.
Collaborate with other departments to support any routine and ad-hoc tasks.
Job QualificationsBachelor's degree in accounting or finance, or equivalent experience.
2+ years of experience in inventory or cost accounting, preferably in a manufacturing environment.
Proficiency with Microsoft Excel.
Familiarity with application systems like SAP, Impact ECS, TM1, PBI, Adaptive, is a plus.
Strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and problem-solving abilities.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, both verbal and written.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team and manage multiple tasks and deadlines.
The US base salary range that Micron Technology estimates it could pay for this full-time position is:
$67,000.00 - $147,000.00
Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. The range displayed on each job posting reflects the minimum and maximum target for new hire salaries of the position across all US locations. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional job-related factors, including knowledge, skills, experience, tenure, and relevant education or training. The pay scale is subject to change depending on business needs.
