**Job Description: Investigator (Malaysia) - Operation Underground Railroad****Organization**:**Basic Function**:This full-time position with Operation Underground Railroad is based in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia. We are looking for skilled investigators to help fight human trafficking. This role will work within an Investigative team coordinating with various internal and external partners. Their goal is to help rescue children and women from human trafficking utilizing their specific skillset.**Responsibilities**:- Employ a wide range of investigative techniques and technology for information and intelligence gathering in instances of human trafficking and chield exploitation.- Utilize open source and closed source investigation software.- Participates in the preparation of concise investigation and analytical reports and conduct of post investigation activities.- Collect and analyze information pertaining to an investigation.- Work collaboratively and in coordination with colleagues to achieve organizational goals in accordance to standard operating procedures.- Work in compliance with organizational regulations and rules.- Coordinate with internal personnel and external partners, government agencies and relevant stakeholders.- Present investigation findings to personnel and government agencies.- Provide training presentations to internal personnel and external partners.- Keep up to date on Investigative best practices.- Represent O.U.R. with integrity upholding all of the O.U.R. core values.- Other duties as assigned.**Requirements**:- Experience in anti-human trafficking, human rights, and social work is a plus- Proficiency in Malay, Cantonese, Mandarin, Burmese or English preferred- Often work irregular working hours: ability to respond to urgent tasks which can include working overtime and weekends- Willingness to work in different provinces and abroad for extended periods of time- Must work well in a team; demonstrate patience, honesty, responsibility and reliability- Adaptability in handling unexpected situations and coping with stressful environments- Capable of time management and prioritizing tasks effectively- Observant and detail oriented while maintaining a positive professional attitude- Critical thinking, problem-solving skills, deductive reasoning, and social perceptiveness- Maintain strict confidentiality within the organization- Hold a valid driver's license: confident driving motorcycles and cars- Proficient in Microsoft Office**Benefits**:- Competitive compensation- Paid Time Off- Salary adjustments based on performance- Allowances for food, accommodation, and travel during field assignments or international trips- Training provided- Annual company outing- Health insurance- Access to Fitness facilities
