Job Description:
Upskilling and improving the competency of Relationship Managers (RM) on a specific skill set towards building a sustainable sales force:
Technical skills such as economic development impact to financial markets and wealth products knowledge.Providing investment solutions in ever-changing financial market and investors' risk appetites and able to provide investment portfolio advice to RMs / clients. Key Responsibilities Providing briefing, to understand the impacts of economic development and house-views, political changes and central banks policies development on financial markets and communicating to the clients / investors efficiently.Proposing investment products ideas and providing coaching on investment products being offered in term of risks and rewards and also the suitability to investors with different risk profiles.Assist investment product team in cascading down new investment products / campaign to the sales distribution teams.Providing periodic review or joint-sale call discussing on clients' investment portfolios upon request and providing investment solution and recommended actions to enhance clients/investors investment experience.Provide coaching and joint sales appointments - to enhance experience of clients/investors and improve efficiencies of RMs from new clients on-boarding, portfolio/investment product proposals, obtaining new or existing investment product updates and portfolio rebalancing. Job Specification Qualifications: University degree (preferably in Finance-related studies, including Accounting, Economics, Business etc.) Professional Qualification and/or Regulatory, Licensing requirements: Federation of Investment Manager Malaysia (FIMM), Private Retirement Scheme (PRS), Investor Protection Professional Certification, SIDC modules 6, 7, 9, 10, 12 and 19A. CFP / CFA charter holders are added advantage. Relevant Work Experience: Minimum 7 years in banking experience, preferably with min 5 years in wealth management advisory roles. Required Competencies & Skills: Always keep abreast with economic or financial market development and able to understand and communicate the implication to each asset classes (also the investment products) and clients' investment portfolios. // Understand and able to communicate efficiently the investment products features, risk and rewards –Product includes UT, PRS, Structured Products (Non-Principal and Principal protected), Dual Currency Investment (DCI), Gold Investment related products, Retail Bonds (Rated and Unrated bonds), Reverse Repo and etc. // Understand and able to communicate investment portfolio rebalancing strategies to RMs and clients.
