Our team is looking for an IoT Solutions Engineer / Project Manager who can drive the technological advancement of our digital products. Candidates should deeply understand IoT and how data sensors, artificial intelligence (AI), and Smart Cities intersect. You will be collaborating with the R&D team to strategise and deploy IoT based technology for a specific project and ensure the related software remains functional and up to date. You will have a direct impact on the data we can collect, as well as customer satisfaction and the success of business initiatives. Job Overview: Collaborate with management and technology principals, serving as the technical expert during stakeholder presentations. You will determine the technical requirements to meet client objectives and act as a liaison between business development and engineering teams. Respond to stakeholder requests for information or proposals, supplying the technical details alongside marketing collaterals of proposed solutions. On-the-job training and mentorship will be provided by our technology partners to bring you up to speed with current projects.
Primary Responsibilities: Provide technical IoT and solution supports to internal and external stakeholders, ensuring all technical needs are addressed. Collaborate with the R&D team to design and refine system architecture for IoT. Participate in the procurement and deployment of hardware related to the project. Develop marketing collaterals for the project. Act as a point of contact for troubleshooting and maintenance of IoT systems post-deployment. We hope you have the following skillsets: Practical knowledge of cloud platforms, wireless transmission, and algorithm development. In-depth understanding of how different sensors work and transmit data including experience in setting up hardware components. Knowledge of the basics of user experience (UX) and user interface (UI) design. Expertise in coding and programming languages, such as JavaScript, Python, and Swift. Comfortable experimenting with and using AI and other types of machine learning to synthesize data. Project management skills ability to manage and run project independently. Commitment to product security, privacy, data protection, and retrieval knowledge. Strong written, communication, and analytical skills. The ability to thrive in a fast-paced and highly technical environment. Qualifications: Bachelor's degree or a combination of education and experience in engineering, information systems - preferred candidates should have experience in both IoT engineering and project management At least 2 years in the field of IoT preferably in Smart Cities projects. Proven technology skills, outstanding interpersonal abilities, and strong written and verbal communication skills. Attention to detail, plus analytical and problem-solving capabilities. Resourcefulness and troubleshooting aptitude. Have own means of travel as the role will require travel to project sites. Work Schedule:
