Purpose of Role
To lead role is responsible for managing and overseeing the school's data systems, ensuring data integrity, and supporting the effective use of data to enhance educational outcomes.
This role involves collaboration with various stakeholders to implement data-driven strategies and maintain the school's IT infrastructure.

Key Responsibility:
Data Management:Oversee the collection, storage, and analysis of school data.
Ensure data accuracy and integrity across all systems.
Develop and maintain databases and data systems.IT Infrastructure:Manage and support the school's IT infrastructure, including hardware, software, and network systems.
Implement and monitor data security measures to protect sensitive information.
Coordinate with external vendors for IT support and services.Data Analysis and Reporting:Analyze data to identify trends and insights that can inform school policies and practices.
Prepare and present data reports to school leadership and other stakeholders.
Support teachers and staff in using data to improve student outcomes.Training and Support:Provide training to staff on data systems and tools.
Offer technical support and troubleshooting for data-related issues.
Develop user guides and documentation for data systems.Project Management:Lead IT and data-related projects, ensuring timely completion and alignment with school goals.
Collaborate with other departments to integrate data systems and processes.Skills and Qualifications:
Degree in ICT, data management or a related discipline.
Experience in data management or a similar role.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Proficiency in data analysis tools and software (e.g., SQL, Excel, Power BI).
Decision-making and problem-solving skills—ability to troubleshoot and resolve issues efficiently.
Familiarity with 3-2-1 Backup solutions.
Hands-on experience with remote support tools like TeamViewer, AnyDesk, or MS QuickAssist.
Ability to execute instructions from superiors effectively.
Proficiency in English and Bahasa Malaysia (fluent).
Other duties and responsibilities:
Work collaboratively with others to develop effective professional relationships.
Communicate effectively with parents, students and staff.
Undertake any other reasonable duties requested/assigned as required by SLT or Line Manager, especially regarding the school's administrative function.
Always follow the school's policies and procedures.
Communication, marketing, and PR
To ensure professional and effective communication and consultation, as appropriate, between colleagues, parents and students at Asia Pacific Schools.
Publicise and celebrate achievements.
Assist with the organisation of open evenings, consultation events and other events relating to the school.
To contribute to marketing activities for Asia Pacific Schools.
