You will experience high levels of ownership and empowerment in your role.JOB DESCRIPTION The IT Executive (Operations Systems and Network AV) is to support, monitor and maintain IT based operational, AV, network and computer based systems of the school. This will include installation, configuration and monitoring of computer systems, diagnosis of hardware or software faults and solving of technical issues. You will have organisational and administrative responsibility including record keeping, filing and liaising with vendors for maintenance of computing equipment and IT services.ROLE AND RESPONSIBILITIESProvide technical support to users for computer, AV, reprographic and networks systemsInstall, configure and deploy computer systemsAdminister, monitor and maintain computer systems, monitoring systems, AV systems and handle basic networking issuesProvide expert technical knowledge and support for physical networking, environmental monitoring, power management, network AV, digital signage, security camera, security access systems and other operations based systemsAssist with the management of users across all Information SystemsProvide training to users in the usage of IT systems specifically but not exclusively for those used for operations systems and networked AVProvide user support and technical issue resolution via email, phone and other electronic mediumEnsure all the assigned incidents are handled properly and timelyContribute to the development of internal processes and systemsCreate and update IT documentationConduct general office dutiesQUALIFICATIONS AND SKILLSMinimum high-school (twelve formal years of education) qualificationBachelor degree qualification in computing, engineering or IT related discipline is preferredAt least two years of relevant working experienceExperience with Crestron Networked AV, C-Cure 9000 Security & Event Management System, Milestone XProtect Security Video Management System and other facility type operations applications will be an advantage.Excellent observational and organisational skills, an eye for details and the ability to focus on a multi-layered problemExcellent communication skillsPrevious experience within the education sector will also be an advantage.Nexus International School (Singapore) is committed to the safety and wellbeing of our children and families.
