IT Governance & Control Specialist - (240001OM)
Responsibilities:Establish, implement, and maintain the IT Project Management framework, standards, and best practices. This includes periodic reviews of processes and templates, conducting impact assessments, and securing stakeholder buy-in and approvals.
Assist in the governance of standards across all IT projects within the portfolio.
Conduct gap analysis of new regulations and Bank's policies to established processes/guidelines to ensure compliance.
Review and identify technology risk/security gaps, vulnerabilities, associated risks, and mitigation measures in our internal processes.
Continue to enhance existing policies and procedures to align with the latest industry practices.
Implement effective process and risk compliance controls including new regulatory updates highlighting any non-conformances from a process view.
Assist to facilitate audits for Technology Project & Platform Solutions, work with audit teams and stakeholders to ensure adequacy and timely availability of necessary artifacts and responses.
Perform periodic risk assessments for PMO, coordinate responses on controls and ensuring conformance to guidelines, participate in risk forums and discussions.
Conduct briefing and training initiatives under Governance team's purview.
Provide additional support for project risk and governance-related tasks as needed.
Qualifications:Requirements and Qualifications:
Diploma or Degree in IT or a related field.
Minimum of 8 years of experience in project management, with a focus on governance and control within an IT environment.
Strong knowledge of project management methodologies (e.g., PMBOK, Waterfall, Agile Scrum).
Professional certifications such as PMP, Prince2, Agile certifications, CISSP, CISA, CISM, or CRISC are preferred.
Excellent analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence and engage stakeholders at all levels.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
Experience in the following areas is an added advantage:
Risk management, IT audit, or information security.
DevSecOps.
