It Infrastructure Engineer

Manage and monitor all installed systems and infrastructure (servers, storage systems, backup servers) to ensure availability, performance and security.
Perform upgrade planning, provisioning and implement new IT infrastructure technologies to ensure timely delivery of projects.
Coordinate with cyber security team to align IT infrastructure with established standards and policies and perform system and security patch management.
Produce system documentation, inventory and standard operating procedures.
Provide 2nd level technical support.
Work and manage vendors to resolve issues and incidents.
Manage situations and work under pressure to resolve problems.
Plan and undertake projects to improve and upgrade key IT infrastructure as directed by IT management.
Job Requirements:
Degree in Computer Science.
Minimum 5 years in relevant field of experience.
In-depth knowledge of IT systems including application server, email, backup and storage.
Professional certification for VMware, Microsoft, and Storage will be an added advantage.
Pro-active and able to work independently with minimum supervision.
Proficiency in English.
