Simple Server Set-up and Management: Install, configure, and maintain servers to support business operations, ensuring high availability and reliability.
Draft IT and Cybersecurity Policies: Develop and implement IT and cybersecurity policies and procedures to safeguard company data and systems.
Lead IT, Data Management, and Cybersecurity Compliance: Ensure all IT systems and practices comply with PETRONAS standards and requirements.
In-house Hardware Support: Provide technical support for hardware issues, including troubleshooting, repairs, and maintenance.
Requirements Minimum a Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.
A Master's degree is a plus.
Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in IT management, with a focus on network and server management, cybersecurity, and IT compliance.
Preferably at a managerial level, with demonstrated leadership and team management skills.
Proven experience with both smaller and larger Oil & Gas (O&G) companies, demonstrating an ability to scale IT solutions to fit various organizational sizes.
Experience setting up IT systems from scratch to support and enhance business operations.
Experience interfacing with PETRONAS, with a strong understanding of their IT, data management, and cybersecurity standards.
Relevant IT certifications such as CCNA, CISSP, or CISM are a plus.
Strong technical skills in network and server management.
In-depth knowledge of cybersecurity principles and practices.
Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work under pressure.
Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
