Job DescriptionResponsibilities:
Configure and troubleshoot Cisco switches, routers, and firewalls.
Build and support security and network-related infrastructure systems.
Monitor alarms of network and perimeter security systems.
Respond to trouble tickets, performing troubleshooting on perimeter security & network devices.
Maintain and administer network and perimeter security standards, documentation, processes, and procedures.
Responsible for Manufacturing IT Windows Systems / Server / Domain Operations & Support, including integration with WAN, LAN, firewall, servers, and associated hardware and software.
Ensure continuous delivery of IT services through oversight of service level agreements with business users and monitoring of IT systems performance.
Close cooperation with regional and global IT Departments to follow Corp's worldwide IT expertise and guidelines.
Reporting:
The position reports directly to the Asia regional Manufacturing IT Manager.
Education:
Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering/Electronics/Computer Science or equivalent.
Experience:
- 6 years of proven experience in mission critical IT Operations & End-User Support environments.
- Experience with Fortinet firewalls, Aruba solutions, and Check Point Security Devices.
- Strong working knowledge of LAN/WAN technologies with hands-on experience in mid-size environments.
- Strong knowledge of TCP/IP, Routing, Windows Server, Active Directory, HP server hardware/storage.
- Experience with Sniffer software, Structured Cabling documentation standards, and diagramming.
- Knowledge of Windows Server 2016/2019 and VMware/Citrix virtualization production.
- Knowledge of Linux / Open Source tools and applications will be an advantage.
- Knowledge of Oracle DB is a plus.
Skills:
- Fluent in spoken and written English.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills are a must.
- Cisco or Aruba Certification or equivalent experience.
- Strong understanding of project management principles.
- Ability to work in a team environment and/or as an individual contributor, as required.
- Ability to effectively prioritize and execute tasks in a high-pressure environment.
