Summary
As a Digital and e-Commerce Project Manager / Senior Business Analyst, you will work closely with various business units within Abbott (i.e. Nutrition, Pharmaceutical, Medical Devices, and Diagnostics) to shape digital channel strategies, enhance digital customer experiences, and implement e-commerce solutions. This role is directly linked to our sales strategy; an ideal candidate would require a forward-thinking approach.
Primary Function:
You will work with cross-functional teams regionally and globally to execute program roadmaps, lead aspects of project planning, lead requirement gathering workshops and execution including timelines, budgets, resource allocation, scope, and definition.
Understand business processes, needs, and opportunities for improvement.
Align business strategies with IT delivery strategies.
Manage relationships between business users and IT organizations for effective communication.
Key Responsibilities:
Lead department-level projects as Project Manager for strategic initiatives or assist Program Managers on phases of larger projects.
Analyze and document business requirements and process flows.
Identify IT capabilities and information required to support business processes and collaborate in developing appropriate information management strategies.
Ensure compliance between business strategies and technology directions.
Provide expert advice on the selection, solution design, justification, implementation, and business use of information systems.
Develop business relationships and integrate activities with other IT departments.
Act as the default point of contact for IT with the business; broker between IT vendors, other delivery teams, and the business to resolve and coordinate system solutions.
Influence organizational decisions and business area objectives, impacting work and achievement of business area goals.

Facilitate brainstorming sessions to gather requirements, conduct thorough business process analysis, and recommend process re-engineering solutions.
Translate business requirements into functional requirements; perform data and process modeling; manage change; and lead, coordinate, and perform testing, verification, and validation of requirements.
Identify alternative solutions, assess feasibility, and make recommendations to leverage new or existing IT technology components.
May have indirect internal team and project team responsibility. Ensure compliance with applicable Corporate and Divisional Policies and procedures.
Apply and execute standard information systems theories, concepts, and techniques; assist in developing standards and procedures.
Prepare testing plans to confirm that requirements and system design are accurate and complete.
Identify and implement process improvements with cost savings, productivity improvements, or revenue-generating benefits.
Develop and propose solutions for business problems, including estimates, business justification, and risk mitigation.
Hold authority and responsibility for significant work areas, including technical and quality aspects, and delegate assignments.
Proven track record in planning, managing, and delivering projects ranging from medium (6-8 months) to large (8-12+ months) durations.
Preferred Education / Experience:
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent.
Certified Scrum Master with 3-5 years of Scrum Master experience.
Master's degree and/or Certified Project Management Professional (PMP) certification is considered an added advantage.
7-10 years of work experience, including 3-5 years managing integrated digital and/or e-commerce implementation/application projects.
Expertise in omni-channel content and catalog management solutions.
Strong knowledge of the technical components of online applications, web development, and e-commerce.
Proficiency in e-commerce end-to-end processes and familiarity with SaaS platforms such as Adobe Magento, Commercetools, Shopify, BigCommerce, WooCommerce, PrestaShop, SAP Commerce/Hybris, and Adobe Experience Manager (AEM).#J-18808-Ljbffr
