It Support Engineer

Main duties and responsibilitiesTo carry out system activities with focus on installation, configuration, migration, upgrading, troubleshooting and maintenance of software, hardware, Wi-Fi and Printer set-up and related peripherals in office.
Experience in managing AD, user creation, user permissions and OU.
Level 1 troubleshooting of telephony, printers, LAN/VLAN Wi-Fi network problems.
Diagnosing and solving hardware or software faults including replacing internal hardware parts for notebooks, desktops, Network devices and Servers.
Supporting the roll-out of new or existing applications or hardware.
Responding within agreed time limits for daily tickets.
Troubleshooting on a task until completion using individual skills or consulting with peers and/or internal expertise within local or global organization setup.
Rapidly establishing a good working relationship with internal customers and other supporting teams like network engineers, security teams etc.
Adhering to organizational standards and process during the support process.
Supporting in the installation of network cables, devices and other network equipment.
Setup and maintain VMs and scheduled backups.
Main KPI'sNotebooks imaging, hardware and software support and troubleshooting.
Maintenance of office file servers and office infrastructure like Wi-Fi/VLAN.
Monitoring and controlling user accesses, usage of office IT equipment and ensuring security compliance as per corporate IT guidelines.
Timely resolution of issues reported by users and documenting incidences for learning.
IT hardware inventory management.
Handling various internal and external stakeholders based on need and priority.
Innovative and contributing to improvements of processes.
