The IT Support Specialist is primarily responsible to provide 1st/2nd line PC/infrastructure support to GN users in a global environment, primarily in Malaysia.
You are responsible for daily incidents troubleshooting, as well as changes and projects implementation relevant to local sites.
You need to build positive relationships with business and key stakeholders, capturing business demands and feeding these to management or to relevant development groups for development and implementation.
In all matters, act as part of the Group IT Service Team and actively contribute towards the common goal of delivering First Class IT Services and support to internal end-users.
Requirements/Skills
Fluent written and spokenEnglish and Malay .
Proficiency inMandarinis an added advantage.
Strong analytic and problem-solving mindset.
Strong communication skills, and good team collaboration skills with local and remote teams.
Ability to work independently, highly self-motivated as well as a quick learner.
Willing to handle call backs when critical systems break down and work in non-business hours when required.
Minimum8 yearsof IT experience in end-user support primarily in production/manufacturing area.
Experienced in supporting Microsoft 365 products and solutions.
Experienced in supporting Teams, SharePoint, Power platform (Power BI / Power Automate) and Azure administration.
Familiar with supporting Windows and iOS endpoint devices.
Familiar with supporting label printing issues and handheld scanner issues.
