About the roleOpensoft Technologies Sdn Bhd is seeking an experienced IT Technical Support / Technical System Engineer to join our dynamic team on a contract basis. This critical role will be responsible for providing end-to-end technical support and system administration for our clients based in Putrajaya. As an integral part of our IT operations, you will play a key part in ensuring the smooth running and optimisation of our clients' technical infrastructure.
What you'll be doing
Provide IT support services adhering to standard operating procedures
Evaluate and deploy IT infrastructure and system
Manage and administer theLinux server operating systemand other server activities, health, availability and performance
Manage and troubleshoot client server, hardware, network, and peripheral devices
Develop and refine server process and procedure
Installation of tableau clustering and rapid minor tools or any others tool related to data visualization
Monitor and maintain server infrastructure, including virtual environments, to ensure optimal performance
Implement and maintain security measures to protect systems and data
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve complex technical problems
Provide training and guidance to end-users if needed
Document technical processes and procedures to ensure knowledge retention
What we're looking for
Bachelor Degree/Diploma in Computer Science/Information Technology or equivalent
Intermediate / advanced skill in Linux server operating system
Having excellent technical and problem solving skillset
Able to work after normal working hours or weekends as and when required
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Good communication and customer service skills
Minimum 3 years of working experience in the following areas:
Installation of tableau clustering and rapid minor tools
Containerization and orchestration technologies such as Docker and Kubernetes
Maintaining server and technical troubleshooting
Operating the system Windows and Linux
Location and Contract Details:
Contract Type: 1 year
Working Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:30 am to 5:30 pm
