The incumbent is responsible for assisting the IT head or team in facilitating, coordinating, implementing, executing, controlling, and completing each marketing project for business needs while remaining aligned with the organization's strategy, commitments, and goals.
Job Responsibilities:
Leading and managing a team of Java Developers on executing projects.
Maintaining high-quality products through participation in code review and design reviews.
Building high-quality products and contributing to the product roadmap planning.
Providing guidance to junior developers and suggestions to colleagues with a deep understanding of technology stacks.
Proposing better software architecture with right design patterns in suitable situations.
Providing in-depth support to Technical Support Analysts.
Working with the front-end team to build a high-performing, user-friendly, and stable web product.
Solving puzzles from client feedback and logs to find the real cause.
Researching up-to-date technology stacks to bring better performance and higher quality products to stakeholders.
Writing documentation for different technologies and knowledge to share among everyone.
Providing insights for database performance and stability.
Job Requirements:
Diploma/Bachelor's Degree/Professional Certificates in Computer Science/Information Technology/Software Engineering, etc.
At least 7 years of relevant experience in full-stack web development.
A good understanding of and practical experience with Java web-based application development.
Strong Java skills, object-oriented design experience, and knowledge of design patterns.
Experience in using Spring & Hibernate in programming work is highly preferred.
Familiarity with Unix/Linux environment.
Familiarity with different source control tools.
Good knowledge of microservices is an added advantage.
Experience in database performance tuning and query enhancement is an added advantage.
Experience in dev-ops relevant tasks is an added advantage.
Knowledge of billing/charging interface/API is an added advantage.
Ability to work with customers and identify adoption barriers and put forth plans to address these issues.
Excellent analytical, problem-solving, teamwork, and communication skills.
Willingness to go the extra mile to get the job done to a high standard.
Experience in leading and managing a team of Developers/Programmers is a must.
Language(s): English, Malay & Mandarin as the role requires the candidate to deal with Mandarin-speaking clients.
