Job Opportunity – Aviation Specialist / Advisor IIIIAbout the Job:
To oversee and support aviation activities and provide management with advice and guidance required to achieve safe, efficient, and effective aviation operations in the country.
Job Roles:
Oversee daily aviation operations in support of Company's at Kerteh Airport and offshore facilities to ensure that all operations are conducted in a safe and cost-effective manner.
Manage and steward the aviation contract with Weststar (WASSB).
Provide Airbase Supervisor with technical support/guidance on all technical matters.
Maintain liaison with PCSB, EnQuest, Jadestone, PML, IPC EM Aviation Services Dallas, Airport Authorities, CAAM, MMEA, and government officials, as appropriate.
Conduct regular reviews of helicopter operator operations.
Monitor and conduct regular inspections and reviews of all helidecks.
Assist platform to produce HLL and seek approval from CAAM.
Seek approval from CAAM for finding closure extension; conduct RA and produce HLL with helicopter operator acceptance.
Monitor and conduct regular reviews of all jet fuel and installations at onshore and offshore refueling locations and platforms.
Coordinate and participate in Aviation Services Safety Reviews, follow up with Action Plans, steward close-out and reporting of Action Plans.
Participate in the Daily Aviation Safety meetings, and assist the Airbase Supervisor to achieve stewardship of aviation safety standards/performance.
Assist the Logistic Superintendent to monitor and steward the operating costs associated with aviation/aircraft operations and the annual Flight Activity Summary and Reports.
Liaise with Company's venture partners, PCSB, EnQuest, Jadestone, PML, IPC on operational issues.
Liaise with CAAM on operational and technical issues.
Liaise with EM Aviation Services on operational and technical issues, reporting, OIC process, etc.
Compile Quarterly Reports and updates based on Open Aviation Safety Review Action findings from the Safety Review reports, Significant Near Misses and Company Accident, Incident and Near Misses.
SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS
Expert knowledge of aviation operations.
Knowledge of International Civil Aviation Organization (ICAO) and local civil aviation agency (CAA) regulations specific technical skills.
Behavioral Skills: adaptability, analytical capability, collaboration, effective communication, innovation.
Functional Skills: Safety, Security, Health, and Environment (SSHE) management – operations and maintenance, process planning and mechanical coordination, maintenance management, mechanical maintenance, logistics.
Experience in Helideck management.
Preferably CAAM approved Helideck Inspector or as CAAM HCC Committee member.
10 years' experience as Aircraft Engineer or Offshore Pilot.
