We have experienced tremendous growth since we launched only seven years ago and now have over 700 employees (Keypathers!) across the globe with no intention to slow down.We put our people first, which means you choose where you want to work from, including if you want to work from home.Job DescriptionThe Junior Content Writer is responsible for producing English-language content across multiple platforms for our partner universities.They collaborate closely with the Content and Marketing functions to develop and produce written content pieces and marketing collateral that abide by editorial standards, utilise SEO best practices, and support the desired creative and messaging strategy to drive website traffic and rankings, increase follower count, and help consumers find the products that fit their unique needs. The role requires someone with:Strong copywriting, editing, and research skillsThe ability to meet tight deadlines and quickly grasp new conceptsGreat communication and collaboration skillsAn eye for detail, creativity, and SEOKey Accountabilities:Develop, write, and edit content for different platforms and purposes, including but not limited to, websites, brochures, SEO-driven blog articles, social media, paid media ads, and EDM marketingConduct the appropriate topic research prior to producing written contentConduct keyword research to produce SEO-friendly contentImprove and update content during content audits or as neededStay up to date on the relevant news items, and industry and marketing trendsReflect each partner university's distinct voice and branding across written content, and ensure brand guidelines are heededHave a solid understanding of product USPs and target audiencesCollaborate with a cross-functional team of Content and Marketing managers and specialists to deliver excellent copy that supports the creative and messaging strategy Other duties as requiredQualificationsExperience2+ years' professional experience in any of the following areas:CopywritingEditing/ProofreadingSEO content production and optimisationBachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Journalism, Public Relations, Creative Writing, Literature, or a related field (favourable)Prior experience with high-traffic websites (favourable)An understanding of the higher education sector (favourable)Skills & Knowledge Highly proficient in the English language; proficiency in Bahasa Malaysia and Chinese a plus Excellent writing, editing, proofreading, and research skillsFamiliarity with editorial style guides and brand guidelinesFamiliarity with Microsoft Word and Google DocsStrong communication and collaboration skillsDetail-oriented, proactive, agile, curious, strategic, and a team playerAbility to manage multiple tasks independently and meet tight deadlines
