You will be responsible for developing highly scalable machine learning models, synthesizing requirements from stakeholders, and creating a product roadmap in collaboration with data engineers, DevOps engineers, product managers, and technical partner teams. You can expect to be given ambitious but achievable technology development goals, built in short iterations with lots of experimentation.
EXPERIENCEAt least 1 year of experience in the application of artificial intelligence, data mining, machine learning, or pattern recognition techniques to very large and diverse datasets.
Experience building and deploying machine learning solutions on Amazon Web Services (e.g. S3, EC2, EMR, Spark).
Expertise in R, Python, Spark, and their associated machine learning libraries.
Expertise in SQL query writing and optimization.
Preferably familiar with data visualization techniques using one or more packages such as Tableau or D3 visualization.
Expert use of SQL; experience with non-relational databases is a plus.
Experience in Big Data technologies (Hadoop, Spark, Hive, Drill, Impala, Elasticsearch) is a plus.
Deep skills in machine learning/data science; experience with deep learning.
Knowledge of professional software engineering practices & best practices for the full software development life cycle, including coding standards, code reviews, source control management, build processes, testing, and operations.
Experience coaching junior machine learning engineers to improve their skills and make them more effective.
Familiarity with the FinTech industry.
Experience performing data analysis for different financial goals.
Experience in any of the following areas is a plus: credit risk management, financial analysis, marketing, fraud detection, consumer analytics, signal processing, computer vision.

EDUCATIONBachelor's in Computer Science, Statistics, Mathematics, or a quantitative discipline.
