Junior / Senior Quantity Surveyor

Job Descriptions
Assisting the Senior QS in managing allproposals and contractsconsistently.Responsible in preparing Projecttenders.Review and check sub-contractorprogress claims.Able to advise suitable andeffective strategies, skills and method in tenderpricing.To ensure that all variation ordersare well recorded and claimed.Liaise and workclosely with the Project Manager on monthly costreports.Participate in meetings withconsultants, sub-contractors regarding contracts, costings,invoicing, and billing.Responsible forensuring all suppliers, sub-contractors, workers, and expenses arein accordance with the budget.Prepare the pre-and post-project budget, progress claims, projected cash flow,tender documentation, and finalaccounts.Ensure progress claims,certifications, and invoices are issued ontime.Negotiate and coordinate with suppliers,subcontractors, manufacturers, and vendors.Job Requirements
Candidatemust possess at least Diploma/Degree in QuantitySurvey.Minimum two (2) year's experience inthe construction industry.Write andcommunicate effectively in English and Bahasa Malaysia. Proficiencyin additional language is highlydesirable.Ability to work independently,multi-task, and have organizational skills.Abasic understanding of construction contracts isrequired.Candidate with on-site workingexperience will be anadvantage.
