As a Junior Supply Chain Executive at our trading company, you will be responsible for establishing and maintaining strong relationships with factories involved in our retail distribution operations. Your primary focus will be on imports, ensuring smooth communication and collaboration with factories to meet our supply chain needs. You will play a vital role in coordinating the import process, ensuring timely deliveries, and maintaining the quality standards set by our company.
Responsibilities:
-Act as the main point of contact and maintain regular communication with factories involved in the import of our retail products.
-Develop and nurture long-term relationships with factory representatives, understanding their capabilities, production capacity, and delivery capabilities.
-Collaborate with factories to negotiate pricing, terms, and conditions of import contracts, ensuring competitive and favorable agreements for our company.
-Coordinate with internal teams to provide accurate product specifications, requirements, and timelines to factories, ensuring their understanding and compliance.
-Monitor the progress of import orders, tracking production schedules, quality control processes, and shipment logistics.
-Address any issues or concerns that arise during the import process, acting as a mediator between our company and factories to resolve disputes and find mutually beneficial solutions.
-Liaising with buyers/customers on their requirements and preparing necessary documentation to confirm an order.

-Ability to converse in Mandarin is a plus but not mandatory.
-Strong understanding of supply chain management principles and import/export regulations.

-Willingness to travel for factory visits and international trade shows, as needed.
