Responsibilities:
Key Account Management:Develop and maintain strong relationships with KOL & key accounts in the therapeutic area.
Proactively identify and understand opportunities, unique needs, and challenges of key clients.
Implement strategies to enhance customer satisfaction and loyalty.
Act as the 'Entrepreneur' of assigned accounts by establishing the company's objectives in the assigned territory through key account management.
Responsible for sales planning, forecasting, and executing strategies on the ground.
Business Development:Collaborate with the sales and marketing teams to identify business development opportunities within key accounts and potential new accounts.
Innovate and develop key account strategies to promote products in line with business objectives.
Work towards achieving assigned sales targets and business objectives.
Product Knowledge:Be well-equipped with knowledge about the company's pharmaceutical products and services.
Provide in-depth product knowledge to key accounts and address any inquiries.
Market Analysis:Monitor industry trends and market conditions relevant to pharmaceutical products.
Conduct regular market analysis and business reviews to identify potential growth areas and competitors.
Negotiation and Contract Management:Negotiate contracts and agreements with key accounts to ensure mutually beneficial partnerships.
Manage contract renewals and modifications as needed.
Work closely with cross-functional teams, including marketing, medical, sales, and regulatory affairs, to ensure seamless communication and coordination.
Compliance:Ensure compliance with relevant pharmaceutical regulations and industry standards.
Stay updated on changes in regulatory requirements affecting key accounts.
Reporting:Prepare regular reports on key account performance, market trends, and sales forecasts.
Present findings to the management team and contribute to strategic decision-making.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Biomedical/Life Sciences/Biology/Pharmaceutical is preferred or Marketing/Other related field.
Minimum 3 years' (for Executive level) / 7 years' (for Manager level) experience in pharmaceutical sales or key account management.
Strong strategic thinking, planning, and negotiation skills.
Strong understanding of the pharmaceutical industry and market dynamics.
Possess strong business acumen and an entrepreneurial mindset with excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Be versatile, composed, and a fast learner in ambiguity and complexity.
Negotiation and contract management abilities.
Results-oriented with a track record of achieving sales targets.
Familiarity with relevant pharmaceutical regulations and compliance standards.
