Kindergarten Teacher in Selangor, Johor Bahru and Pasir GudangResponsibilities:
Plan and deliver lessons that align with the Malaysian National Curriculum (Kurikulum Standard Prasekolah Kebangsaan, KSPK) and other school guidelines.
Use a variety of teaching strategies, such as play-based learning, interactive activities, and hands-on experiences, to engage students.
Foster a love of learning by encouraging creativity, curiosity, and exploration.
Monitor and assess the academic, social, and emotional development of each child.
Tailor teaching methods to meet the diverse learning needs of all children, including those with special needs.
Promote language development, cognitive skills, socialization, and motor skills.
Create and maintain a positive, respectful, and orderly classroom environment conducive to learning.
Implement effective classroom management strategies to address behavior and encourage positive interaction.
Ensure the safety and well-being of all students at all times.
Observe and document the progress of students in various developmental areas.
Use informal and formal assessments (e.g., observations, checklists, portfolios) to track student growth and development.
Provide regular feedback to parents on their child's progress and areas for improvement.
Build strong relationships with parents through regular communication, including parent-teacher meetings, newsletters, and informal conversations.
Address any concerns or issues raised by parents and provide guidance on how they can support their child's learning and development.
Organize and manage classroom materials and resources effectively.
Ensure that the classroom is well-maintained, safe, and conducive to learning.
Collaborate with other teachers to plan and share resources.
Attend professional development workshops, seminars, and training to enhance teaching skills and stay updated on educational trends and best practices.
Participate in school meetings, events, and committees to support the overall mission of the school.
Work cooperatively with other teachers, teaching assistants, and administrative staff.
Participate in school events, outings, and extra-curricular activities as required.
Key Skills and Qualifications:
Education:Diploma or Degree in Early Childhood Education or a related field (a teaching qualification recognized by the Malaysian Ministry of Education).
Certification in Early Childhood Education (e.g., SKM, NCECE, or any other relevant qualification) is an advantage.
Experience:Previous teaching experience in a kindergarten or early childhood education setting is preferred, but fresh graduates with a passion for teaching are also encouraged to apply.
Skills:Strong communication skills in both English (must be fluent) and Bahasa Malaysia (knowledge of additional languages is a plus).
Patience, empathy, and a passion for working with young children.
Creative, energetic, and able to create a stimulating and positive classroom environment.
Good classroom management skills with the ability to guide children in a structured yet fun manner.
Ability to assess and respond to the individual needs of children.

Additional Responsibilities:
