About the role
We are seeking a passionate and experienced Kindergarten Teacher to join our team at IDiscover Montessori in Shah Alam, Selangor. This is a full-time position where you will be responsible for teaching the Mandarin language and running our day care program. As a Kindergarten Teacher, you will play a crucial role in shaping the educational and developmental experiences of our young learners.
What you'll be doing Developing and delivering engaging and age-appropriate lesson plans for Mandarin language instructionOverseeing and managing the day-to-day activities and routines of our day care programProviding a nurturing and stimulating learning environment that supports the cognitive, social, emotional, and physical development of childrenCollaborating with parents and guardians to understand each child's unique needs and support their individual growthMaintaining accurate records and documentation related to student progress and developmentParticipating in staff meetings, professional development opportunities, and other school-related activitiesWhat we're looking for Relevant teaching qualification in Early Childhood Education or a related fieldFluency in both English and Mandarin, with the ability to effectively communicate with children and parentsMinimum 2 years of experience teaching in a Kindergarten or day care settingStrong understanding of child development, learning theories, and effective teaching methodologiesExcellent communication, interpersonal, and organisational skillsPassion for working with young children and a commitment to their holistic developmentWhat we offer
