Kitchen Assistant

Properly cleaning and sanitizing all food preparation areas/ kitchen / dining according to established standards of hygiene. Washing and appropriately storing all cooking appliances, instruments, utensils, cutting boards, and dishes. Assisting the Chefs with the preparation of meal ingredients, which includes washing, cleaning, peeling, cutting, and chopping fruit, vegetables, poultry, meat and others as per directed by Chefs Sweeping and mopping the kitchen floors as well as wiping down kitchen walls 3 times a day per shift. Perform major cleaning at all section kitchen / food preparation area / dining before end of shift. Assisting with the unloading of delivered food supplies, organizing and correctly storing food supplies in dry storage and cold room. Promptly transferring meal ingredients from storage areas to the kitchen as per the Chef's instructions. In addition, to update the inventory checklist. Assist with meat preparation and cooking whenever required Comply with set standards of preparation and cooking techniques and set methods of serving food items.
