Job Title:Kitchen Assistant
Responsibilities:
Assist Chef De Partie/Cook in monitoring kitchen activities and preparing food in accordance with company quality and hygiene policies.
Perform cleaning tasks for the respective kitchen section:
Wash and clean meat and vegetables prior to cutting.
Move and store ingredients in designated areas.
Dispose of rubbish frequently and ensure the kitchen area remains clean.
Maintain cleanliness of the kitchen store and organize inventory.
Collect food ingredients from the store:
Collect and count food ingredients.
Return rejected food ingredients to the store as required.
Other duties:
Participate in food preparation as needed.
Perform any other duties as required.
