JOB SUMMARY
We are seeking an experienced and motivated L3 Support - Web Developer with expertise in AngularJS, JavaScript, HTML5, and CSS, or equivalent front-end frameworks. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of Agile methodologies and experience implementing CI/CD pipelines to ensure efficient and reliable application delivery. This role requires close collaboration with respective stakeholders, understanding the business requirement and resolving issues within the agreed SLA.
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
Troubleshooting & Incident Management
Investigate and resolve critical production issues, often involving debugging complex code or identifying system-wide problems.
Analyzing root causes, providing fixes and developing strategies to prevent future issues.
Proactive monitoring to ensure that backend services are functioning optimally.
Web Development:
Design, develop, and maintain responsive and user-friendly web interfaces using AngularJS, JavaScript, HTML5, and CSS, or equivalent front-end frameworks.
Integrate front-end components with backend services using Rest API frameworks.
Optimize web applications for maximum speed and scalability.
Collaboration:
Work closely with backend developers, UI/UX designers, and product teams to deliver high-quality web solutions.
Actively participate in Agile ceremonies, including sprint planning, daily stand-ups, and retrospectives.
Translate business and user requirements into technical designs and solutions.
Testing & Debugging:
Conduct thorough testing to ensure application reliability and performance.
Use debugging tools to identify and resolve front-end issues efficiently.
Implement and maintain unit and integration testing strategies.
CI/CD Integration:
Implement and manage Continuous Integration/Continuous Delivery (CI/CD) pipelines to streamline deployment and release processes.
Ensure efficient automation of testing, building, and deployment stages.
Optimization & Maintenance:
Ensure web applications are optimized for various browsers and devices.
Maintain existing applications by implementing updates and enhancements.
Monitor web application performance and address potential bottlenecks.
Documentation
Produce and maintain detailed technical and user documentation, ensuring clarity and accessibility for developers, stakeholders, and support teams.
Document architecture, APIs, design patterns, and workflows to facilitate easier knowledge transfer and onboarding for new team members and support staff.
Maintain an up-to-date repository of configuration details, operational procedures, and troubleshooting guides inclusive of service access management (SAM).
Best Practices:
Advocate for clean coding standards, modular design, and reusable components.
Stay updated with the latest trends in web development, CI/CD, and Agile practices.
Foster a culture of continuous improvement in the development of the lifecycle.
JOB REQUIREMENTS
Malaysian citizen.
Passed Malay Language including an oral test at the Sijil Pelajaran Malaysia (SPM) level.
Possess a Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or an equivalent field, recognized by the Government from any accredited local or international higher learning institution.
Possess at least 2 years of hands-on experience in the related field.
Comprehensive understanding of fundamental design principles.
Technical Skills:
Proficiency in AngularJS, JavaScript, HTML5, CSS, and frameworks like Java Spring MVC or equivalent.
Experience in developing CI/CD pipelines using tools such as Jenkins, Gerrit.
Solid understanding of Agile methodologies and tools like JIRA or equivalent.
Expertise in RESTful APIs and integrating front-end components with backend systems.
Familiarity with modern development tools such as Webpack, NPM, and version control systems like Git.
Experience in writing clear, structured technical documentation.
