About the roleCamel Power (M) Sdn Bhd is seeking a skilled Lab Technician to join our dynamic team in Kuantan, Pahang. As a Lab Technician, you will play a pivotal role in supporting our laboratory operations and ensuring the accurate and timely analysis of samples. What you'll be doing
Performing a range of laboratory tests and analyses according to standard operating procedures
Operating and maintaining laboratory equipment to ensure optimal performance
Accurately recording and documenting test results and observations
Assisting in the preparation of samples and reagents for testing
Adhering to all health, safety, and environmental regulations within the laboratory
Collaborating with the wider team to identify process improvements and optimise laboratory workflows
What we're looking for
Minimum of a diploma or degree in a relevant scientific or technical discipline, such as chemistry, biology, or laboratory science
Proven experience as a lab technician or in a similar role, preferably within the laboratory and technical services industry
Excellent attention to detail and strong analytical skills to ensure the accuracy and reliability of test results
Proficient in the use of laboratory equipment, instruments, and software
Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment and follow standard operating procedures
Strong problem-solving and critical-thinking skills to identify and resolve issues efficiently
