About the roleWork Location : Butterworth - PenangReporting to : QA ManagerKey responsibilitiesTo obtain finished products samples according to sampling planTo perform physical & chemical testing according to testing methods and frequencyTo support in line troubleshooting and investigation.To check on foreign matter verification as per SOP.To perform ATP and protein swab for processing line. To support in cleaning verification.To perform daily calibration of required equipment's in physical labTo prepare related chemical solution according to working instructionTo pack and keep the reference and retain samples for every production run and the details shall be recordedTo maintain the retained samples room is clean and organized at all timeTo ensure tests and inspection activities are carried out as per proceduresImplement and maintain HACCP, Quality Control & Good Laboratory Practices and maintain records and other documentation.Record keeping for all relevant quality control check sheets including data entry into log sheets and SAP system.To communicate on issues with relevant departments e.g. product issue with production and line execs, etc.To maintain cleanliness in laboratories and other QA areas. Maintain 5s at all times.Maintain compliance to HSE and Life requirements.To fill in required documents on shifts, attendance, OTs and other related HR requirements. To submit leaves and OTs as per procedure.Qualifications and skillsDiploma in Food Technology / Nutrition / Dietetics, Food & Beverage Services Management, Science, Engineering (Industrial), or equivalentSPM (science stream) with at least 2 years' experience in manufacturing environment will also be consideredSkill / Experience:Minimum 1 year of working experience in manufacturing environmentComputer literate & good communication skillsGood command of both spoken and written in English and MalayAble to work in rotating shiftsAble to work independently with minimum supervision, Dynamic, result-oriented and able to work under pressure.Should be comfortable working in a fast changing and growing global environment where accountability, quality, timeliness are key componentsBeware of scams online or from individuals claiming to represent us.
